Plastic bottles entering the ocean add to the 199 million that currently kill a million wildlife a year. Plastic never disincarnates, it breaks down into microplastic that we inhale and inside fish we eat. When plastic sits in a landfill, it releases methane and ethylene gas that exacerbate climate change. We have recently experienced an “aluminum shortage” in the beverage industry, which is completely avoidable, especially since aluminum can be recycled forever. 72% of aluminum in use today is recycled. Pop Top Lock will be created in America and will take approximately 10–12 months to go to market.
